Green Bridge Farm

Well it's been a while since I have posted construction pics. It's been almost a year in fact since construction on the roads and pond were finished. These pics are from lots 4 and 6 which are side by side. My friend Gerry is buying lot 4 and my friend Charles is buying lot 6. We rented a machine called a gyrotrac to do the clearing. It is a very environmentally sensitive way to do the clearing. These are exciting times for me!

These are some pics from the late summer garden and orchard.

These are some pics of the garden. The community garden is coming along nicely and the fruit trees and bushes are heavily set with fruit. My new community members, Molly and Shandor, have been working with me in the community garden. The project is really coming together.

This is an article about the farm that appeared in "South" magazine. I've also included some photos from the photo shoot that didn't appear in the magazine. The project, Green Bridge farm, is also mentioned in the latest edition of "Savannah" magazine. On page 30 under the heading " What's new" you will find a reference to the farm.

The pond has filled in nicely. The water is clearing too.

We enjoyed grapes, figs, okra, and swimming in the new pond last Sunday. The kids and dogs loved the pond.
